Who we are
We guide people in building strong, resilient bodies that support the lives they want to live. Through strength training, mobility work, and movement skill development, our focus is simple: helping people remain capable, confident, and free in their bodies for life.
My Expanded Journey-
I’ve always been active.
Growing up, I played softball, volleyball, basketball, and diving. I loved being in motion — but interestingly, I never had formal swim lessons. That early experience now shapes how I teach, especially when helping others build confidence in the water.
My path originally took me to New York City in 1999 to pursue performing. While there, I found my way into aquatics and became a Water Safety Instructor in 2004. Teaching parent/child classes, water safety, and stroke development quickly became something I truly loved — helping people feel safe and capable in the water.
After moving to Atlanta in 2008, I continued teaching, but in 2014 I hit a turning point. Struggling with confidence, I entered a weight loss competition and lost 60 pounds in 8 months. More importantly, I discovered how powerful it feels to be capable in your own body. That experience led me to pursue personal training.
Around that same time, I found triathlon — and I was hooked. Since then, I’ve completed multiple races, including a full-distance Ironman in 2022. That race came during a deeply challenging time in my life, as I was also walking through the final months with my father. It reinforced something I carry into my work every day: we are capable of more than we think.
After moving back to Nashville, my focus expanded again. Supporting my mom through chronic pain and limited mobility deepened my understanding of what it truly means to help someone move better. It’s not just about performance — it’s about quality of life.
I’ve also navigated injuries of my own, including IT band syndrome and ongoing low back pain. Learning how to move through these safely has strengthened how I coach and connect with others facing similar challenges. My approach now also incorporates myofascial release to support better movement, reduce pain, and build long-term resilience.
Today, I stay active through training, racing, strength work, pickleball, and hiking — but more importantly, I continue learning and evolving.
Because at the end of the day, this work isn’t just about fitness or swimming.
It’s about helping people feel capable in their bodies — strong, resilient, and free to move through life with confidence.
